HAZARDS: Skin and eye irritation can occur, avoid inhalation of dust.
SAFETY: Use dust respirator for fine particulates when needed, gloves, solid toe shoes and long sleeves.
USE: Mix-in color for mortar, plaster, cast-in-place concrete, pre-cast concrete, masonry units, roof tiles, concrete furniture and other cementitious products.
COVERAGE: Dosage depends on intensity of color desired, from ½ percent or less of cement weight to 5 percent or more. Do not exceed 10 percent color based on the cement weight.
COLORS: See READYMIX Color Charts. There are 40 standard colors and 80 additional adjustable dosage colors, as well as cross matches for most popular colors in use today. Custom color matches are available for a nominal laboratory fee.

ABSOLUTE MASONRY MORTAR COLOR FACT SHEET
Tech Data Bulletin C-1.31 (partial)
HAZARDS: Skin and eye irritation can occur, avoid inhalation of dust.
SAFETY: Use dust respirator for fine particulates when needed, gloves, safety glasses or face shield, solid toe shoes and long sleeves. Wash with soap and water.
USE: Mix-in color for mortar and plaster based on a bagged mortar mix.
COVERAGE / Dosage depends on intensity of color desired. One M-series bag of DOSAGE ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Color = 2% dosage for 1 bag of masonry mortar mix. To increase the color dosage, add two or more bags of ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Color per bag of masonry mortar
mix. To decrease the color dosage, add two or more bags of masonry
mortar mix per bag of ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Color.
Use the same method to regulate intensity of plaster or stucco color.
For mortars using one sack cement rather than pre-mix mortar use 1
pound bags or 5 pound bags of Integral Concrete Color per trial samples. The Integral Concrete Color Chart from No. 2 will be some assistance.
COLORS: See ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Color Chart. The standard 15 colors are for use with 80 pound mortar mix bags. Additionally the Integral
Concrete Colors in one-pound bags may be used for mortar colors.
Request Mortar Color Channel Kits for actual mortar samples.
APPLICATION / Place most of water in mixer for the batch desired along with part of the MIXING: mortar mix. (For example if you are mixing 4 bags mortar mix, add one bag of mix with the water.) Add all ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Color for batch. Allow color to disperse in mixer. Add balance of bagged masonry mortar mix and adjust slump with balance of water. Mix all subsequent batches identically so far as possible, including amount of mix water, mix times and pot life times. Use ABSOLUTE Masonry Mortar Colors according to the UBC or other jurisdictional regulatory code in your local area. Always employ qualified craftsmen whose work you have seen and approved. See complete Technical Product Bulletin for additional information.
CURING: Keep finished masonry from freezing for 72 hours. Wetting walls may cause irregular mortar color.
SEALING / Call Absolute Concrete Colors for information about specific applications.
WATERPROOFING
STORAGE: Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight and inaccessible to children.
